Come Horse Riding in Wales

With the option of guided or unguided
rides you can just go out for one hour or as much as whole days,
or even trail rides.
They are suitable for all standards
of riders, whether you want a exhilarating canter, or a leisurely
hack to enjoy the countryside scenery before stopping off at a local
hostelry.
Remember when booking please ensure
that you are honest about your riding ability, to ensure that everyone
enjoys their ride
Being on horse back there is no
better way to spot wildlife, of which there is a large and varied
variety of.
Berwyn Mountain 3 day Trail Ride
Designed for the more experienced rider. all meals are included plus 2 nights camping. ( B & B is available for an extra £20 per night )
Setting out from Springhill we ride down the mountain into the valley bottom, riding along side the Ceiriog river along the old tramway, originally built to take the residents and products of the valley (Wool, Slate and granite) to the Llangollen canal at Chirk. we then rise above the valley starting our assent around Pandy rock, through the ancient tracks, until we arrive at Llanarmon for our lunch. After lunch we travel along country lanes farm tracks and open mountain on to our first night stop and Tan y pistyll the site of the highest waterfall in England and Wales, where we enjoy a Barbeque, and for those with some energy left can enjoy a walk to the top of the waterfall or even enjoy an invigorating shower at the base.

On the Second morning we set out on our most challenging climb, sometime needing to dismount to lead the horses, before we stop for lunch at the New Inn Llangynog,

On the the other side after a successful descent
Our second night is spent on the outskirts of the remote village of Llandrillo, where we enjoy a pleasant evening in the local pub with great grub and friendly locals before retiring back to our camp for the night.
Out third day involves the ride back right over the Berwyn mountains, taking us to the most remote and highest point of the ride

Your Baggage is transferred for you and we provide comfortable inflatable mattresses.
This ride is for experienced riders only, and we will need to assess you ability prior to this ride, by taking you along on a 2hr ride, which can be the evening before. Total cost £390
